to make it into the capitalist west, seven young georgians hijacked a soviet passenger plane on november 18th, 1983. for three of the group members the armed hijacking ended with the death penalty in a prison in tbilisi.

in a personal journey the director zaza rusadze looks for clues to the event in today’s georgia.
